Terry grew up on the water in Pennsylvania and everywhere that travels would take him, from the Chesapeake Bay to the East coast of Australia. He moved to NYC ten years ago and discovered the vibrant sailing community, becoming an ASA certified instructor, joining a race team, and spending the summers on the water here in New York. In his spare time, he charters boats in different locales such as Croatia, competes in marathons and Olympic format triathlons, and planning the next adventure.

They say if you can sail in the NY Harbor, you can sail anywhere. I’ve tested that theory out a few times in the Caribbean, Long Island Sound, South Shore - and so far it’s true! I’ve picked up a few skills and gained some credentials along the way, so let’s go out and get you sailing…everywhere!

Heather grew up in upstate New York in a family of lake power-boaters. Watching sailboats always made her wonder how it would be to be on the water and hear nothing but the wind in the sails and the nature. She recently pursued her interest and after learning how to sail with Sailors NYC, she became an ASA instructor. Heather is currently an accountant for a big real estate developer, but her life dream is to continue to travel the world, cooking, painting, swinging in a hammock under the stars, eating coconuts, jumping off cliffs, and swimming in the sea.

Before moving to New York as photographer and author in 2006, he explored from Berlin the shores around the Baltic. Once in the US, he raced regularly in New York and New England, and cruised along the Eastern seaboard and offshore over to Bermuda. A Transat is in planning. On the 30'' sloop "Messing About", moored on the Western Long Island Sound, Janko skippers pretty much every drop of local waters from Sheepshead Bay to Block Island.
